The Person Behind the Vibe

Jena’s General Store began in Calgary in 2022 as a creative project inspired by my love of business, fashion, and all things retro. Now based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, the brand is entering a new chapter.

​

With more than 20 years in high-end fashion retail, I built my career turning underperforming stores into successful, profitable businesses. Building strong teams, improving performance, and creating memorable customer experiences have shaped my career — and continue to inspire my entrepreneurial journey.

My creative inspiration comes from the glamour of the 1950s and 1960s, iconic Hollywood beauties, and Brigitte Bardot’s effortless style.

 

 

 

 

 

Of course, no introduction would be complete without Ari, my Miniature Bull Terrier, and Lala, my Toy Poodle — two very important personalities behind the brand.

Jena’s General Store brings together my love of entrepreneurship, gourmet popcorn, retro-inspired style, and thoughtfully curated finds, all with the goal of bringing a little more personality and fun to everyday life.
